...Championship to hold in May, serve as African Games Qualifier By Mishael Emmanuel with additional reports by Lovette Ochicha The Armwrestling Federation of Africa (AFA), in partnership with the Ghana Armwrestling Federation (GAF), has announced that Ghana will host the 15th Africa Armwrestling Championship from May 27 to 31, 2026, in Accra, the Ghanian capital. The championship which was moved from its traditional July date, will also serve as the qualifier for the 2027 African Games armwrestling competition. The Secretary, Armwrestling Federation of Africa (AFA), Julien Boumsong, confirmed the decision and urged all member countries to begin preparing their teams for the continental showdown.
