Robinson double strike puts England on brink of 3-0 Series Sweep

Ollie Robinson continued his remarkable run of form as England tightened their grip on the third Test against Pakistan with two wickets in his opening over at Edgbaston on Thursday.

The fast bowler, who was named player of the match in each of the opening two Tests, made an immediate impact after Pakistan were forced back to the crease for their second innings.

Robinson claimed a wicket with the very first delivery before striking again just three balls later, leaving Pakistan in serious trouble and England within sight of completing a series whitewash.

The tourists struggled to respond to England's relentless pressure, reaching 52 for two before rain brought an early end to the second day's play.

Pakistan still require another 268 runs simply to force England to bat again, leaving the visitors facing a daunting task to keep the series alive.

With Robinson once again leading the attack, England will return on Friday in a commanding position as they seek to complete a 3-0 triumph.
