After the horror show, FKF hauls McCarthy into crisis review as pressure mounts on Harambee Stars

The Football Kenya Federation has moved into full damage-control mode after Harambee Stars’ humiliating 8–0 defeat to Senegal, summoning head coach Benni McCarthy and his entire technical bench for an emergency review session earlier today.

In a no-nonsense meeting, FKF officials pored over recent performances, dissecting worrying trends and highlighting glaring weaknesses that can no longer be ignored.

According to insiders, the discussions were “frank, intense, and long overdue,” with clear demands for urgent improvement.

McCarthy and his staff were tasked with presenting concrete corrective measures as the country reels from one of the darkest scorelines in its football history, a result that has ignited public outrage and amplified calls for immediate action.

With Kenya’s football reputation on the line, FKF insists the team’s direction must change, and fast.

The message from the federation was unmistakable:
Another collapse like Senegal, and heads will roll.
