De Amazon Road Waka 4.0 is 7 days away

...Participants advised to prepare ahead
 

As the date for De Amazon RoadWaka 4.0 2025 edition draws closer residents of Jos and its environs have been advised to take this opportunity to walk into good health.

CEO of De Amazon RoadWaka Jennifer Okoye gave the advice at a press conference held at the NUJ sit out Bar in Jos on Friday. 

According to her, this year's version will be preceded by a well organized seminar scheduled for Tuesday next week, 7th October, at Usiju Event Center after the Secretariat Junction Roundabout by 10am. 

She urged people to attend the seminar as they stand to gain a lot. The seminar will feature doctors, dieticians, and fitness instructors to deliver talks on healthy living. 

While answering questions from media on the issue of security on the D-day, Jennifer assured all participants of maximum security as Nigerian Police and other security agencies have confirmed their full participation. 

Jennifer Okoye also urged participants to purchase De Amazon RoadWaka T-shirts currently on sale at #5,500 and wear them on that day. 

The CEO advised participants to check themselves medically wise ahead of the D-day to ensure they are fully fit to participate at the 15km road walk. 

This year's De Amazon RoadWaka 4.0 is scheduled for Saturday, 11th of October, 2025, with the take off point at Jay FM just after the National Library Roundabout by 6am prompt.

Running in the final heat of the race, Amusan produced a quick start off the block that included heavyweights like Devynne Charlton and Elena Carraro to finish in 12.53s without dropping a sweat.
