The General Overseer of the club that was founded some 6 months ago, that narrowly missed out on promotion in the recently concluded National League One (NLO), championship, Prince Dapo Ajibade, emphasized that the club is aimed at discovering and developing promising young talents from the grassroots level.

"Tonic FC is a veritable football factory based in the lovely Ikorodu community of Lagos State. This is just a tip of the iceberg, because we've many other young and talented footballers, who would soon join the professional ranks in a not too distant future," the highly respected football administrator stated.

The five players that includes youthful, giant size shotstopper, Ayuba Oyetola, who stands at 6'9 height, are scheduled to travel out to Portugal in the next few weeks to continue their careers as professional footballers.
