The event which is an initiative of Taraba State Netball Association, is aimed at providing children and youths access to playing netball outside the school environment and to keep them busy with pro-social activities during the school holiday.

Students from GDSS Nyamusala, Howai GDSS Jalingo, Magami GDSS Jalingo and other schools in and around the State capital were transported to the Jolly Nyami Stadium, Jalingo, Taraba State, venue of the training exercise were they showcased their passion and love for sports.

Though the development of netball skills was the major focus of the training event, the students were also provided with health talk and drug abuse awareness information. The personal hygiene discussion was done by a certified nurse, Ediseh Danladi Issa and sanitary pads were subsequently distributed to some of the attendees.

On the final day of the program, the representative of MAS Foundation, Mrs Lydia Shitta presented the students with certificates of attendance and urged them to continue to work hard in their academic pursuits, while developing their sporting talents.
