Cameroon’s top English-speaking football influencers are calling out the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) for what they describe as a glaring oversight.

Clement Toh, speaking on behalf of the Anglophone football community, criticized the federation for consistently leaving out deserving figures from English-speaking regions in major events.

Ade Divine and Kosi_Foottalk, widely regarded as two of Cameroon’s top football analysts from the Anglophone regions, were notably absent from the recent Cameroon Ballon d’Or awards.

Both have been active in promoting local football, covering matches, and even traveling to support Cameroonian teams.

“To omit those who are genuinely contributing to the growth of football, while inviting personalities not involved in the sport, is unfair,” Toh said in a statement addressed to FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto'o Fils.

The snub has sparked conversations across Cameroon’s football community, with many calling for more inclusive representation that reflects the country’s linguistic diversity in football promotion and media coverage.
