Inter renews Ria as money transfer partner

 
Italian giants, Inter Milan have extended their partnership with Ria Money Transfer, until the end of the 2026/27 season. Ria will continue as Inter’s Official Money Transfer Partner, building on a collaboration that first began in 2023.

The deal also secures Ria’s continued support for Inter Academy Chile, further strengthening its presence in the local football community.

The renewal was formalized in Los Angeles during Inter’s participation in the Club World Cup, with Inter Chief Revenue Officer Giorgio Ricci meeting Juan Bianchi, EVP and CEO of Euronet’s Money Transfer Segment, at the company’s headquarters in Buena Park, California.

Giorgio Ricci, Chief Revenue Officer at Inter Milan said, “We are thrilled to announce the extension of our partnership with Ria Money Transfer, which testifies to our mutual satisfaction with what we have built together so far. Being in Los Angeles for the Club World Cup gave us the perfect opportunity to visit our partner’s Buena Park headquarters and celebrate this important renewal. We are proud of the bond we have formed together. Ria is now an integral part of the Nerazzurri family, not just alongside our club but also through its support for the Inter Academy Chile project.”

Inter, who began their international outreach with a series of academy launches have piggy backed in a sponsorship strategy, which has seen the Nerazzurri consistently expand their commercial portfolio with global brands across multiple sectors.

Hammer thrower Falana vows to rule Africa

It’s a medal within reach for the young Gabonese hammer thrower who was selected to represent her country at the CAA U-18/20 Championship, holding in Abeokuta, Ogun State, South-West, Nigeria. The 18-year-old who broke into the international stage a year ago at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, added that she is looking to revive the spirit of unity, commitment and collaboration — to back rising athletes in Africa. Springsoca United Academy kicks off new season with intensive training

By Mishael Emmanuel with additional reports by Akeem Busari One of the the fastest-growing youth football institution in the city of Lagos, Springsoca United Academy, has officially announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 football season, beginning on Saturday, the 6th of September, 2025.    The Youth Academy has introduced new training mandates aimed at strengthening discipline, performance, and player development. The management of the football Academy stated that participants in the U-13 Teams will now train twice weekly, while U-15 Teams and older will engage in three weekly sessions. This structure is designed to improve fitness levels, tactical awareness, and long-term development.
