Tickets for Games of the Future 2026 go on sale as Astana prepares to welcome the world
Despite still having more than two months to go, the world's premier phygital contest is launching the ticketing process. With a more affordable Early Bird option, packages are available starting at $8.50 (€7.3), as well as flexible Standard Day Passes.
The Games of the Future 2026 are heading to Kazakhstan's capital this summer, and tickets have officially been on sale since Wednesday. The first release is now available for fans eager to lock in a place at what is widely being billed as one of the most anticipated modern sporting events of the season in Astana. Drawing over 800 attendees from more than 50 different nations, including many of the world's leading esports and hybrid teams and athletes, GOTF 2026 will turn the Central Asian metropolis into a worldwide platform for the sport of tomorrow from 29 July to 9 August.
Across 12 days of elite esports and hybrid competition, teams from around the world will battle for a multi-million-dollar prize pool, alongside immersive fan experiences and top-tier entertainment, capitalising on the forward drive generated by the Abu Dhabi edition in December, which was covered on site by Inside The Games.
Fans can already access a 20% early-bird discount on daily passes for the group stage across six disciplines: Phygital Football, Phygital Basketball, Phygital Shooter, Mobile MOBA, PC MOBA and Battle Royale.
Available until 10 June, the first-wave tickets cover competitions at the Beeline Arena, the Qazaqstan Athletics Sports Complex, the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace, and the Barys Arena, where spectators can experience the distinctive blend of physical sport and competitive gaming that defines the phygital format.
Pricing varies by discipline and by day. The standard daily pass is $17 (€14.46), with the early-bird price set at $13.60 (€11.56). Student tickets are cheaper at $12.75 (€10.84), with a pre-sale option at $10.20 (€8.67). Children's tickets are the most affordable: $8.50 (€7.23), dropping to $6.80 (€5.78) during the early-bird period.
After the pre-sale window closes, additional discounts will apply, including 25% off for students, 50% off for children, and free entry for people with reduced mobility plus one companion. VIP group-stage tickets will also be available in this first batch, alongside passes for the play-offs and finals, which go on sale on 10 June. Free entry will likewise apply for people with reduced mobility and one companion.
Additional tickets for Phygital Fighting will be available online from 10 June. Tickets for Phygital Dance, the final discipline completing the GOTF 2026 programme, will be available only by invitation and through prize draws in the coming weeks.
Tickets can be purchased via the official Games of the Future Astana 2026 site or through the official ticketing operator.
Among the elite teams already confirmed for GOTF 2026 are Orlando Pirates, Peñarol, and the reigning GOTF 2025 Phygital Football champions, Mexico Quetzales, Armadillos FC. Also set to compete are the reigning Phygital Shooter champions xGoat, while local side PBC Astana will feature in Phygital Basketball. Further high-profile international teams are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
Other rosters will qualify through Phygital Contenders Astana 2026, scheduled for 10-15 June, which will be covered by ITG. Live coverage will be available via Phygital+, Phygital International's direct-to-consumer streaming platform.
