Inter Miami sign up with co-owner Beckham’s IM8
Major League Soccer champions Inter Miami have announced IM8 as their official health supplements partner, in a deal that also sees the club take an equity stake in parent company Prenetics, the health business co-owned by David Beckham.
Financial terms were not disclosed, but the agreement marks the first time the club has taken an equity position in a brand partner.
Under the deal, IM8 will supply its core products, including The Beckham Stake, to all Inter Miami players and staff. IM8 also secures group NIL rights over four Inter Miami players, headlined by Lionel Messi.
Danny Yeung, Prenetics chief executive and IM8 co-founder, said: “Inter Miami has never taken equity in a brand partner before – they have now, and that partner is Prenetics. That alone tells you what the club thinks of IM8.”
Branding will appear inside the Nutritional Center at the Florida Blue Training Center in Fort Lauderdale and across the newly opened Nu Stadium, including LED signage, concourse displays, and scoreboard spots. IM8 also gains rights to use Inter Miami’s marks in global marketing campaigns and will feature in a co-branded digital content series.
Inter Miami joins an IM8 ownership group that already includes NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo, tennis grand slam champion Aryna Sabalenka, and F1 driver Ollie Bearman. Since launching in December 2024, IM8 says it has become the fastest-growing supplement brand on record, shipping over 24 million servings to more than 800,000 customers across 40-plus countries. Projected 2026 revenue sits between $180 million and $200 million.
“We’re not putting a logo on a wall. We’re embedding IM8 into the daily routines of players on a world-class roster, as we’re building the next generation of IM8 products,” Yeung added.
The agreement extends Inter Miami’s recent commercial run, following its new stadium partnership with payments firm Shift4.
