Seasoned broadcaster Felix Awogu loses Mother

The Awogu family has announced, with deep sorrow and gratitude to God, the passing of their beloved matriarch, Madam Nnedinobi Regina Awogu, who departed this world peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday morning at the ripe age of 90.
Late Madam Awogu, a woman of grace, strength and quiet dignity, hailed from Ada Oko Anala in Delta State.
She lived a full and impactful life, one marked by love for family, devotion to community and values that have continued to shape generations after her.
To those who knew her, she was a pillar of wisdom, a source of warmth and a steady guide whose presence brought comfort and reassurance.
Announcing her passing, her son, Felix Awogu, veteran sports broadcaster and General Manager and Head of Outside Broadcast at SuperSport, described his mother as a woman whose life was devoted to service, sacrifice and nurturing others.
Her legacy, Awogu a former board member of Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), noted, lives on through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward the lessons she instilled.
The family stated that details of burial arrangements and plans will be made public in due course.
They also emphasized that the final rites will not merely be a moment of mourning, but a celebration of the remarkable life and times of a dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who touched many hearts.
As the Awogu family comes to terms with this great loss, tributes have begun to pour in from friends, colleagues and well-wishers, all united in celebrating a life well lived.
Though she may be gone from sight, the memory of Madam Nnedinobi Regina Awogu will remain forever etched in the hearts of those she loved and inspired.
