Manchester City announce US-exclusive media collab with Paramount+

English Premier League side Manchester City have announced a US-exclusive media collaboration with Paramount+, which will see the streaming service’s branding and content feature across the club’s US-focused digital and social media channels throughout their 2025/26 UEFA Champions League campaign (UCL).

Paramount+ already streams every UCL match to US audiences, making its brand a synonym to Europe’s top club competition for many of the Americans tuning in.

The move sees Manchester City develop even further into the US market – an area where they are already a top player in the wrestle for American eyes and cash. The club’s ownership group, City Football Group (CFG), owns Major League Soccer (MLS) side New York City FC, and more recently cashed in on 2009-born American talent Cavan Sullivan, who will join City in 2027.

Back in May 2024, MLS side Philadelphia Union signed on the then 14-year-old to the largest homegrown contract in the division’s history, with an agreement built in to transfer the teenager to Pep’s side after he turned 18 years-old.

With their feet already thoroughly planted, this new collaboration marks another significant step for City’s growth within the US market.

For over a decade, the Club have invested in building and sustaining their presence across the US and offering new opportunities for fans to connect with the Club through in-market activations, preseason tours and most recently the creation of City Studios NYC – a dedicated production hub creating US-specific content.

Andres Gonzalez, USA Regional Director, Manchester City, said: “Over the past decade, we have strengthened our presence across the United States establishing Manchester City as one of the most supported teams in the US.

“Collaborating with Paramount+ enables us to further connect fans with the Club’s history and traditions through engaging content and storytelling. We look forward to working closely with their team as we head into an exciting UEFA Champions League campaign.”

Domenic DiMeglio, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Data Officer for Paramount Streaming added: “Paramount+ is excited to collaborate with Manchester City, one of Europe’s top clubs with a passionate and growing fanbase in the United States.

“This collaboration is rooted in meeting fans where they are — with content and marketing that speaks directly to their passion. Together, we’re creating meaningful connections and reminding supporters that Paramount+ is the home for live coverage of their team’s UEFA Champions League campaign.”
