TECNO renews AFC club competition partnership for two more seasons

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has renewed AI-driven technology brand TECNO’s partnership with its club competitions for the next two seasons.

Designated as an Official Global Supporter of the AFC Club Competitions, the agreement covers 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons.

TECNO began its support of the AFC’s club game with the 2024/25 season, and the revamped and rebranded structures of the AFC’s Champions League Elite, Champions League Two. This season the AFC Women’s Champions League kicks in with its own expanded competition structure.

TECNO’s support will play a key role in enhancing fan engagement and delivering memorable experiences throughout the campaigns.

AFC General Secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John said: “The 2024/2025 club season was a landmark edition that has transformed the future trajectory of the Asian club football landscape. We are delighted by the renewed commitment of companies like TECNO, and we look forward to working in close partnership to elevate the standards of our club competitions in the coming years.”

The AFC has been growing its competition structure which in turn has attracted more international recognition both in the AFC’s domestic Asian markets, but also in the rest of the world.

Laury Bai, Chief Marketing Officer of TECNO, said: “This two-year renewal builds upon the success of our collaboration in the previous season and reflects our shared vision for innovation, excellence, and connecting with fans across every corner of the globe. We look forward to continuing this journey with the AFC over the next two years, bringing more exciting moments to football fans worldwide.”
