President Tinubu, applauds Tobi Amusan on women's 100m hurdles silver medal

  
The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, showered praises on Tobi Amusan for winning silver in the Women's 100m hurdles at the ongoing 2025 World Athletics Championship, in Tokyo Japan.

President Tinubu described Tobi Amusan as a distinguished and patriotic athlete who's relentless drive, resilience and unwavering spirit has brought honour to Nigeria.

"Tobi has once again demonstrated that with patriotic fervour, coupled with hard work and determination, any height is surmountable. Her achievement is a source of national pride," he said.
