   The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) commended its Grand Patron, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the appointment of Honourable Ayo Hulayat Omidiran as the new Chair of the Federal Character Commission.

This development was made public by the Public Relations Officer of the NOC, Tony Nezianya, in a press statement made available to your authoritative and award-winning news channel, FIRST ZEALMEDIACAST BLOG .

NOC President Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel, expressed profound joy and satisfaction upon receiving news of the appointment, emphasizing that it is undoubtedly an open acknowledgement of her meritorious experience in the public sector and strong ties with the Olympic community as a dedicated member of the NOC Board of Trustees.

“It was with great joy and gladness that we received the news of your appointment as the Chairman of the Federal Character Commission.

“Your appointment is undoubtedly an open acknowledgement of your meritorious experience in the public sector, both as a distinguished former member of the National Assembly and now in the Olympic Movement,” he said.

He expressed strong conviction that Honourable Omidiran will use her unique perspective and valuable experience, stemming from her involvement in governance and the dynamic world of sports to take the Federal character Commission to higher levels.

“We in the Olympic Family have the assurance that you will use your experience and proven leadership capacity to improve the fortunes of the Federal Character Commission during your tenure,” he further emphasized.
