AFC Amateur Championship Grand Finale will be explosive, gripping and exciting - Riad Aswani

The Founder of AFC World Series, Raad Aswani, has assured fans, spectators and lovers of Mixed Martial Arts of an explosive, rip-roaring and cliff-hanging display during the Grand Finale of the AFC World Series today (Sunday) 14th of September 2025.

Raad Aswani gave this assurance in an exclusive interview with FIRST ZEALMEDIACAST BLOG's Oluwatobiloba Zeal-Adepetu Kumoye at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos State.

During the first 3 days of the championship over 70 gripping and exciting fights were staged, thrilling hundreds of fans at the multi-purpose sports hall.

Raad Aswani is very confident that it will take place during the Grand Finale, leaving spectators at the edges of their seats.

He expressed deep satisfaction in the quality of fights witnessed during the championship, adding that this spurs him on to do more for Mixed Martial Arts on the continent.

The championship, which has the blessings of the Nigerian MMA Federation, is a historic milestone for the sport’s growth in Nigeria.

The fights are endorsed by the Nigerian MMA Federation (NMMAF), National Sports Commission (NSC), Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) and the African MMA Confederation (AMMAC).

Hammer thrower Falana vows to rule Africa

Springsoca United Academy kicks off new season with intensive training

The management of the football Academy stated that participants in the U-13 Teams will now train twice weekly, while U-15 Teams and older will engage in three weekly sessions.
