14 Black Stars players in camp ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

The Black Stars of Ghana officially open camp today in Accra ahead of their imminent games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Otto Addo’s men will first travel to N’Djamena to face Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on September 4, before returning home to host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8.

Fourteen players reported to camp on Sunday, with the rest of the squad expected to arrive later on Monday.

Those already in camp include:

✓ Ibrahim Osman
✓ Lawrence Ati-Zigi
✓ Abdul Salis Samed
✓ Jerry Afriyie
✓ Joseph Anang
✓ Christopher Bonsu Baah
✓ Benjamin Asare
✓ Jonas Adjetey
✓ Ibrahim Sulemana
✓ Mohammed Salisu
✓ Caleb Yirenkyi

The Black Stars coach Otto Addo had earlier named a 24-man squad for the qualifiers.

Ghana currently lead Group I after six matches as they chase a fifth FIFA World Cup appearance.
