Chelsea’s Cole Palmer has trademarked his iconic ‘shiver’ celebration as he continues to develop his personal business empire.
The England international already added the name ‘Cold Palmer’ to his commercial portfolio and has now added the synonymous celebration to the mix.
Palmer’s latest trademark includes the celebration, his name, facial image, and even his “CP” cross-arm logo. From energy drinks to clothing, the list of items covered under Palmer’s application seemingly touches every sector of fan culture.
He becomes the latest in a long line of professional footballers who have attempted to cash-in on their marketable traits – Cristiano Ronaldo has his patented CR7 and ‘Siuuu’ celebration, Mbappé has protected his commercial assets and even sprinting great Usain Bolt trademarked his lightning pose.
