Warri Wolves' goalkeeper coach, NNL Goalkeeper of the Season set for honours


   In a heartwarming display of support for Nigerian football, certain individuals have been moved to recognize and reward some of the outstanding contributions to the beautiful game in the country.

The goalkeeper coach of Delta State based outfit Warri Wolves, Mr. Abayomi Olorunda, is one of the recipients of such kind and gestures.
 
A generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous, has pledged support to Mr. Olorunda, a testament to the coach's dedication and expertise.

Meanwhile, Mr. Hammed Folorunsho has announced plans to support the best shotstopper in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
 
Mr. Folorunsho who promised to support the NNL Goalkeeper of the Season with a brand new premium quality, goalkeeper' glove, stated that this gesture is aimed at encouraging and motivating young and talented shotstopper in the league to strive for excellence.

The Nigeria National League has witnessed significant growth and improved competition in recent times, and these noble endeavors are expected to boost the morale of both the goalkeepers and their trainers.
 
These unsung heroes undoubtedly have a positive impact on the sport. Their generosity and commitment to promoting Nigerian football, is inspiring many more to follow in their footsteps.

Hammer thrower Falana vows to rule Africa

It’s a medal within reach for the young Gabonese hammer thrower who was selected to represent her country at the CAA U-18/20 Championship, holding in Abeokuta, Ogun State, South-West, Nigeria. The 18-year-old who broke into the international stage a year ago at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, added that she is looking to revive the spirit of unity, commitment and collaboration — to back rising athletes in Africa.
